DIRECTIONS TO SKYLINE GATE From San Francisco: Cross the Bay Bridge and take I-580 east to Park Blvd. Turn east (left) on Park and follow for 2.0 miles until it ends at Mountain Blvd. Turn left on Mountain and go 0.2 miles until the first traffic light. Turn right at the light onto Snake Blvd. After about two blocks, Snake bends sharply to the left; stay to the right (actually more-or-less straight ahead), which is Shepherd Canyon Blvd. Follow Shepherd Canyon Blvd. all the way to the top (be careful, there is a hair-pin turn to the right near the top), which is 2.1 miles total from Mountain Blvd. Turn right on Skyline and follow it for about 0.5 miles. Skyline Gate is the parking area on your left. Allow about 35 minutes from downtown San Francisco. From Marin: Cross the San Rafael Bridge and take I-580 through the Bay Bridge maze (stay to the left) to Oakland and exit at Park Blvd. Turn east (left) on Park and follow for 2.0 miles until it ends at Mountain Blvd. Turn left on Mountain and go 0.2 miles until the first traffic light. From the Peninsula: Cross either the Dumbarton or San Mateo Bridge and take I-880 north to San Leandro. Exit at I-238 eastbound (signs will say "Stockton, To I-580"). Follow I-238 for 2 miles. Exit at I-580 westbound (signs will say "Oakland"). Follow I-580 for about 8 miles. Exit at Hwy. 13 (signs will say "Warren Freeway, Berkeley"). Follow Hwy. 13 for 3 miles, exit at Park Blvd. Turn left onto Mountain Blvd., follow for 0.4 miles to the second traffic light. Allow 95 minutes from downtown Sacramento. From Walnut Creek area: Take Hwy. 24 westbound to Fish Ranch Road exit. Turn right after exiting and go up the hill to the stop sign.
