Important Updates!
 
  
Race Course- Updated Mileage
 
After careful review of the current course, the total mileage has been 29.83 of the 50K distance.  In order to make the course distance an accurate (31 miles), the start to Highway 49 is now 7.1 miles.  (The past distance from the start to Highway 49 had measured at 5.5 miles)  From the start, runners will traverse 2.25 miles West on the road.  Runners will be esorted by a bike lead for the first part of the course.  Miles 1 and 2 will be clearly marked with signage on barricades and on the road.  From the road, runners will turn right on the upper trail head and make their way back to re-join with the original course.  The East side of the course distances have also been measured and updated on the mileage chart.  The home stretch from Highway 49 to the Finish had been 1.7 miles.  Our measurements confirm that this identical section is "actually" 1.3 miles.  The course is now 31 miles.

(**Overall and age group results will be posted at the finish line, however, runner splits will be posted Saturday evening with the Unofficial Results.)
 
Please be sure you cross each of the mats for your split to be recorded.

Post Race Festivities
 
After you cross the finish line, make your way in to the tent for a yummy Turkey, Veggie or Ham Wrap and a scoop of Pasta Salad prepared by the COOL DELI. 
 
Additionally, Clif Bars, Baker's Breakfast Cookies, soup and cold beverages will be served.
 
For your special and sweet treat, enjoy one of our homemade Fabulous Frog Cupcakes!

Post Race Massage
 
The Monsters of Massage staff will be ready to relax and soothe your sore and tired muscles.  Every Way Too Cool runner will receive a future $10 off coupon for a 30 minute or 60 minute massage compliments of the Monsters.   The massage area will be located in the main tent.
