Kathy Harshburger New Director for the SoCal Ultra Series

Series Members:

I am very pleased to announce that effective Mar 1, '00, Kathy Harshburger will become the new Director of the SoCal Ultra Series. Kathy has been running ultras here in Southern California since before forever. Unlike the rest of us, it hasn't aged her a bit!

Also please welcome the following other changes:

TREASURER:
Joe Magruder has agreed to handle this. We will finalize this transfer in the near future.

DATABASE: Chuck Wolfe has agreed to start taking this on as well.

I am really pleased that an orderly transition like this is taking place.
 
All this and the other following details will be outlined in the "LeaderBoard", and will be posted to the website as well.

Currently I am writing this from a laptop, as my main drive is in the shop getting overhauled. Undoubtedly some of the members may miss this. I will make a following announcement via postcard.

Then, a larger announcement will be made to the UltraList and to "Ultrarunning" as well.
