For a number of years, there have been more than twice as many people who want to run the Miwok 100K as the park service allows spots. Thus, Miwok 100K entry will be through lottery.
Anyone who volunteered eight hours for the 2013 race will receive an “extra ticket” into the 2014 lottery.
The 2013 race was shortened due to last-minute fire-safety closures. *Any runner who was checked in and on the 2013 starting line will bypass the entry lottery as long as they register by 5:00 p.m. on December 8th.
But don't worry - there will still be plenty of spots for runners who did not race Miwok in 2013.
The entrant list will be posted here on the Miwok website on December 12, 2013.
Bib numbers are not transferable; a $75 refund is available if you notify the Race Director of withdrawal by March 5; no refunds after March 5. There will not be a waiting list this year. Withdrawal
